The Story Behind BAREFEEL

Barefeel didn’t begin in a boardroom or a business plan. It began in the quiet, unfiltered conversations between women who were tired of settling. Tired of opening their drawer every morning and finding the same dull colours, the same uninspired choices, the same compromise between what felt comfortable and what made them feel alive.

It began with a simple, stubborn belief — that every woman deserves to feel completely herself in what she wears closest to her skin.

That belief became Barefeel.

What the Industry Got Wrong


The intimate wear market in India is large, growing, and deeply underserved. Not because products don’t exist — but because most were designed around assumptions rather than reality.

The assumption that Indian women are one size, one shape, one preference. That intimate wear means three colours — black, white, and beige. That bold means inappropriate and elegant means boring. That what you wear under your clothes doesn’t affect how you feel in them.

The name carries both meanings intentionally.
